VMware recently release its new version of Hosted Hypervisor, i.e VMware Workstation 8. It has equipped with lot of new features. It came along with some cloud enabled feature set, with the help of them we can share the virtual machines on demand. Following are the some features…
1. We can run virtual machines from the application (Workstation) and from ESX server side by side.
2. Can easily upload the virtual machines created in Workstation
3. Stand alone VMware converter included in the package for easier migration of physical machines
4. We can share the virtual machines on demand (There is an option called “Share” included in the context menu of a VM)
5. “Autofit” view adjusts the resolution of the Virtual Machine automatically when you resize the window.
6. Easier access to options and other settings of workstation and virtual machines from the application homepage
7. Flexible network editor interface
